This September there was another interesting weekend across the country that enables many of us to see inside buildings not usually open to the public. Although both Herefordshire Council and our Society have tried to find willing property owners over recent years, we have not been successful in persuading many property owners to share their “interiors”. Anybody with an interesting or quirky property we would love you to share it with us for an afternoon or two next September- any offers?

Hereford Guided Walking Tours
Heritage Open Days weekend
A choice of walking tours: during the daytime, tours of buildings with architectural or historic interest; All of our walks start from outside the Old House in Hereford. The daytime walks include looking at the outside of many historic buildings in the centre of the city of Hereford. The evening 'Haunting and Horrors of Hereford' walks involve a tour of city locations in which ghostly or horrible historic actions have occurred from as far back as Saxon times.
